FAQs

Here are some of the most common questions we receive about our therapy services. Whether you're a new client looking for more information, or a current client with questions about your child's therapy sessions, we hope you'll find the answers you need here.

What age range do you work with?

We work with children up to the age of 17 years old.

How long are your therapy sessions?

Therapy sessions typically last 30-60 minutes, depending on the individual needs of the child.

Do you offer telehealth sessions?

Yes, we do offer telehealth sessions for clients who are unable to attend in-person sessions or prefer the convenience of this service delivery option.

How often should my child attend therapy sessions?

The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on the individual needs of your child. Typically, we recommend weekly or bi-weekly sessions, but we will work with you to create a personalised plan that meets your child's specific needs.

What happens during a therapy session?

During a therapy session, we use a variety of fun and engaging activities to help your child develop their speech and language skills. This may include games, exercises, and conversation practice. We also provide support and guidance to parents on how to incorporate speech therapy techniques into their communication, social and feeding skills.

Where can my child be seen?

Your child can be seen at your home, childcare, pre-school, school or a mixture of these.

Does my child need a referral to see a Speech Pathologist?

No, you do not need a referral. If you wish to claim a rebate, you will need to consult your GP first to determine if your child’s difficulties meet the rebate criteria.
